trailer camper - beginner's instructions

Don't add too many items that add to the weight of the backpack or you will tire out quickly. By taking a hiking trip you are also able to go to destinations that are remote or hard to get to, making your hiking trip an adventure that won t easily be forgotten.

Just the family, some simple camping supplies, plenty of food, and we're good to go. If you carry your backpack for long periods of time, It can eventually affect your entire body, particularly your back. Carry sufficient bottled water and also carry along a few water purifying tablets for any emergencies.

Excessive heat can also be a problem, especially for young children, so pack lots of liquids. If travelling with children, teach them to do the same and remain calm if they get lost.

Buy the right equipment before your hiking or backpacking trip. Walk an oceanside wilderness trail for a glimpse of an eagle's nest. When trying on boots, always test them using a sock that matches the thickness of the socks you plan to wear.

Camping is the perfect opportunity to do some star gazing. No honking horns, no ringing phones, just the great outdoors.
